The story behind ayora

We are on a mission to empower blue chip lawyers as P&L owners, and in the process help their firms improve key working capital metrics: lockup days and realisation rates. We started with a thesis that equipping busy senior lawyers with highly personalised, targeted and actionable insights will allow them to more effectively manage finances on their client engagements. That is now bearing out to be true in practice!

But we don't want to stop there. Underpinning our product is our core belief that knowledge workers such as lawyers tend to, in fact, have more than one job, and those multiple responsibilities compete for their attention. Take lawyers as an example – in addition to their core mission of providing client advice, they are responsible for matter management, compliance oversight and business development to name a few. We want to alleviate the burdens of those second jobs whilst keeping knowledge workers in the loop and in control.
